Continued Partnership with Vulcan to the Sky Trust:
One of our proudest achievements was the continuation of our partnership with Vulcan to the Sky Trust. Together, we delivered educational projects that ignited curiosity and passion for learning in countless young minds. This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to fostering innovative educational initiatives.
13th Annual Get Up to Speed Event at Magna:
The highlight of our events calendar was undoubtedly the 13th annual Get Up to Speed event held at Magna Science Adventure Centre. Welcoming over 5000 attendees, this gathering aimed to inspire young individuals to explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maanufacturing (STEM). It was a day filled with excitement, engagement, and the promise of a bright future in STEM fields.
4th Annual North Star Science School at Gulliver’s Valley:
In collaboration with Wellnorth Enterprises and with the support of 16 local organisations, we hosted the 4th annual North Star Science School at Gulliver’s Valley in Rotherham. This unique event brought together nine schools with nine local business to deliver co-created workshops to around 500 attendees. We aim to fostering hands-on learning experiences that showcased the real-world applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Manufacturing/Mathematics (STEAM).
Skills Street Partnership:
We proudly joined forces with Skills Street, an immersive and innovative careers training experience which is quickly taking shape on the site of Gulliver's Valley in Rotherham. Designed to inspire and inform individuals of all ages in the South Yorkshire region. This partnership aligns with our mission to provide impactful and engaging learning opportunities that shape the workforce of tomorrow.
13th Consecutive Summer Academy:
Our Summer Academy, now in its 13th year, continued to empower young people aged 14-18. The program provided valuable insights, skills, and mentorship opportunities, equipping participants with the tools they need to thrive in the ever-evolving world of STEM.
STEMFest Days for Primary Schools:
Witnessing the spark of inspiration in the eyes of children as young as four is a testament to the success of our STEMFest days for primary schools. These initiatives expose young minds to the wonders of STEM, laying the foundation for a future generation of innovators, engineers, and scientists.
