The Work-wise Foundation has launched their Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Innovation Challenge for 2019, with 6 schools pairing up with with local engineering and manufacturing businesses. The 6 schools will be working on a bespoke project set out by the businesses with the teams presenting to a panel of industry judges at Get up to Speed with STEM on Wednesday 27th March 2019 at Magna in Rotherham.
This year’s 6 teams are:
Sponsored by The IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) each challenge is set by a business to simulate an actual business problem, giving insight into the daily challenges faced in industry. The challenges enable participants not only to understand product design and development, but also taking the product to market, contributing directly to enterprise and entrepreneurship skills.
